We know how difficult it can be to let a stranger into your home, let alone someone new that's going to look after you! That’s why we take our time when hiring new carers to ensure we only hire people that we think our clients will feel comfortable with.
All candidates undergo background and criminal record checks, commonly known as DBS checks. We also conduct personality profiling to ensure we select candidates who ‘best fit’ the role and Tiggo Care's company culture. Lastly, we’re committed to recruiting an inclusive and diverse workforce, one that reflects our society and our client base.
All our carers participate in a bespoke and extensive training programme, which equips them with all the skills they need to deliver care to our exceptional standards.
We believe the best care is delivered by happy carers and so we’re committed to looking after our staff.
Just as we pride ourselves on ensuring our clients and carers are happy, so we work hard to ensure our recruitment process is fair, inclusive and effective.
We hire people who will not only make great carers, but just as importantly, will become an integral part of our team.
Show us how amazing you are and why you’d be a great addition to our team.
This is your chance to get to know us and our opportunity to find out more about you. We want to know your story. We want to hear what you’re passionate about, what your interests are and what you’ve learnt from your past experiences that will help us achieve our mission.
If you like what you’ve heard and if we’re happy too, we’ll invite you to one of our induction days.
Following the induction, we’ll let you know whether you’ve been successful in your application. If you have, we’ll get you started with some online training and prepare you for the specialist in-house training that takes place during your first week.
We’ll conduct pre-employment checks to ensure your suitability for a career in care.
Once your training and our checks are complete, you’ll be all set to start working for us.
